Is Band 4 Bad For UCAT?

Some universities will automatically reject with a Band 4 in the Situational Judgement Section (SJT) of the UCAT exam. However, others will not consider of importance the Situational Judgement Section of the UCAT exam at all. Ideally, you want to aim for Band 1 or Band 2. Some universities will say in their selection criteria that they accept a Band 3 however, you may be at a disadvantage. A Band 3 may put you at a disadvantage at some universities compared to other students who have also applied and have a higher banding score. Most students will attain a band two or band three in SJT, with the split being roughly 50:50.
