It is recommended to study intensively for 6-8 weeks before your UCAT exam.
This allows you to study each of the 4 sections and become proficient in them. Of course, within this time, you will require 3-4 hours per day. This will include time to go over your answers and reflect. If you have a UCAT tutor, then the time you spend with them should be included within the 3-4 hours as mentioned. There are wide differences, however, regarding the exact time a student requires to be ready for the UCAT. Considerable variation occurs between different students, with some requiring a lot more practice and some requiring half of the above-recommended time. The quality of the time is more important than simply counting the number of UCAT questions you do per day or the length of time.
