Dental schools use a combination of an aptitude test (most commonly UCAT except Leeds which uses BMAT) and academic performance (GCSE and A-levels) with the Personal Statement to select students for interview.
There are 14 dental schools in the UK for normal entry after A levels. Only LEEDS Dental School relies on the BMAT whereas the remaining ones all use the UCAT.
